Getting ready for Halloween

{FYI: I’m skipping most of September and October – I really really loved those months, and I do plan on doing a LOT of catch up later but I’m tired of blogging about vacations.  That’s a little mixed up, if I’m tired of blogging vacations and excited to blog about normal life… but that’s life around here… a little mixed up.   I’ll catch up quick from here and then go back.  That’s the plan.}

We couldn’t come up with a night when we could carve a pumpkin as a family so Luke and Matthew and I did it during the day one day.  Well, they watched me.  I tried to have them pull the seeds out but they didn’t like it at all.  I really needed a helper with no fear… like Megan.  She would have done it.  Next year.

Naturally when I filled our copper jack o lantern with candy the boys got pretty excited. I told them they could pick out one.  Boy are we excited for Halloween.
