Ludwigsburg Pumpkin Festival–Swiss Theme
This is our third year visiting the pumpkin Festival on the Ludwigsburg Palace Grounds. This year they picked a Switzerland Theme with the Swiss Flag, a cute Chalet, a yodeler, the Matterhorn, cows and goats and even a Swiss army knife. It was fun. We went on a no-school Friday with friends and wandered, played at the park, went on a few rides and tried some pumpkin food. They have all KINDS of gourds and pumpkins to buy – really fun to check them all out. I was glad the Festival was open into early November because we just didn’t have time to make it down here before Halloween.
Our food was really tasty. The spaghetti with pumpkin sauce was our favorite and we ended up ordering another so Ryan could have some since he was off with his friends when we ordered. The ‘dumpling’ and pumpkin soup was good too.
