Thoughts about Moving to St. George

Lisa

What I’m most excited for… being closer to my BYU girls and my parents and family, being warmer in the fall/winter, looking forward to a year of travel and building a house in St. George.

What I’m nervous about… getting into a good routine, setting up ‘home’ for the next year, signing up for school and new events, my kids making friends, Chris being away from us so much.

I’m sad to leave Colorado because… We’ve been here for 9 years! Such a great area and ward!

I’m going to miss… Bluebell ice cream, our HOUSE, my furniture, my daily routine in my home, our ward, the Larsons, the Cordera neighborhood and pool, my kids friends, my friends, lunch with friends, beautiful Colorado, Denver!

What I can do to TRUST IN THE LORD and make this year fantastic… I can’t deny that we have felt prompted to move there. Remember that and trust that all things will work out for our good. It’s doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy, but that it will work out. Rely on Him and on each other. Reevaluate what’s important and prioritize those things in daily life.

What I’m most excited for… new friends and boys, dances and school games, but mostly just soccer.

What I’m nervous about… making friends.

I’m sad to leave Colorado because… I knew everyone, good ward, Pride, tessa, k, char, our house and backyard. We lived there for so long!

I’m going to miss… the boys, friends at school, teammates, PC games

What I can do to TRUST IN THE LORD and make this year fantastic… know that its gonna be hard before it can be better and that he has a specific plan for me.

What I’m most excited for… Living super close to cousins and family, and the pool open year-round!

What I’m nervous about… finding more friends

I’m sad to leave Colorado because… I have just met my perfect group of friends that are so fun, cool and everyone has so much in common with everyone.

I’m going to miss… mostly Everett and Isaac… but also my ward, my awesome house, the girls from FSY and the drama at school with Ev and Isaac.

What I can do to TRUST IN THE LORD and make this year fantastic… Don’t be nervous about school and just trust Him that I will be able to make friends and everything will go smoothly in St. George.

Matt

What I’m most excited for… the pool is ALWAYS open, living close to cousins, BYU games

What I’m nervous about… no cute girls and finding friends

I’m sad to leave Colorado because… I’m going to miss my friends and hanging out with them. We’re moving into a house that is much smaller

I’m going to miss… friends, parties, the house, the Cordera pool, backyard, being so close to friends houses

What I can do to TRUST IN THE LORD and make this year fantastic… trust that this is what I’m supposed to be doing
