France Trip - Château de Cheverny
The Château de Cheverny is a beautifully preserved 17th-century hunting palace located in the Loire Valley. Known for its elegant classical architecture and richly furnished interiors, it has been owned by the same family for over six centuries. Current owners live on the third floor, not open to the public. Rick Steves gives it a 2 triangle rating. It was definitely a fun one.
The Cheverny Gardens
After checking out the sculptures in the Garden of Love, (and acting one out) we headed to the beautiful walled vegetable and flower gardens to walk around.
Avenue de Château
We loved the darling Avenue de Château — especially this heart shaped bush. Katie and Taylor - always our willing back seat passengers so that Cassie can get in and out a little easier.
