France Trip - Walking around Blois

Blois (pronounced ‘blwah’, which we practiced and practiced and tried to fit in as many conversations as we could) was lovely. It’s one of the biggest cities in the Loire Valley and it was fun to wander through and check out medieval tangle of lanes below St. Louis Cathedral and around St. Nicholas Street. Cassie was feeling appropriately tired so she and Ryan relaxed on a bench by the beautiful church pictured below while Katie, Taylor, Chris and I went on yet another city walk.

One of the most interesting and modern stain glasses windows I’ve ever seen. I love it!

The streets below the Blois Cathedral were cobblestoned and just magical. Tayor is loving being in Europe and we are loving having him with us! I think he may want to live in a small French town now. But who doesn’t?

One of my favorite pics of the trip. Love the cute French cafe chairs everywhere.

After wandering around Blois (‘blwah’), we headed back to the park and met Ryan and Cassie back at the van.

Dinner was a fun restaurant just outside of town and we were one of the first ones there at 6:00pm. We sat at a round table by the window and enjoyed a view of the Loire River as we ate our food.

Then back to the château to play a game of Project L and then head to bed.
